The President of Montenegro, Mr. Jakov Milatović, awarded Dr. Tatjana Motrenko Simić the Order of Labor on the occasion of Montenegro's Statehood Day for her achievements in the field of reproductive medicine.
In the justification for the award, it was stated that it is given to a Montenegrin and world-renowned gynecologist and subspecialist in reproductive medicine, who is credited with establishing the first state center for assisted reproduction in Montenegro, at the General Hospital Danilo I in Cetinje in 2007.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tatjana Motrenko Simić has helped in the birth of over a thousand babies through in vitro fertilization procedures. Her work has significantly influenced the development of reproductive medicine in our country and the region, promoting innovations and better access to assisted reproductive technologies within Montenegro's healthcare system and in the field of infertility treatment.
