Dr. Željko Lazović heads the Department of Human Reproduction at the "Danilo I" Hospital in Cetinje. As a recognized specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with a focused subspecialization in fertility and sterility disorders, he is dedicated to modern methods of treating reproductive health.
Professional Path and Education
After completing primary and secondary school in his hometown of Bijelo Polje, he earned his medical degree in 1991 from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade. He further enhances his expertise through specialized studies in gynecology and obstetrics (completed in 1999), and in 2013, he further advanced his skills and obtained the title of subspecialist in the field of fertility and sterility.
He dedicated the first decades of his professional engagement to the General Hospital in Bijelo Polje. After obtaining his subspecialty diploma in 2013, he moved to the General Hospital "Danilo I" in Cetinje, where he took over the leadership of the human reproduction team.
International Engagement and Life Philosophy
Dr. Lazović is an active member of leading international organizations in his field, among which stand out the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the Mediterranean Society of Reproductive Medicine (MSRM).
